計画地は京都市今出川。周辺には京都御苑を始め多くの社寺が建築されており、また同志社大学関連施設も程近く利便性も高い為、住宅地としても京都屈指の人気エリアです。

本計画は、鉄筋コンクリート造+重量鉄骨造3階建て、ビルトインガレージ3台を基本コンセプトとし、京都市における厳格な景観条例や法規に則りつつ、最大限シャープなデザインにて外観コンセプトを纏めました。
周辺に京都特有の木造和風建築が随所に建ち並ぶ中での、鉄筋コンクリート打ち放し仕上げを基調としたシャープなデザイン。アプローチの導線は敢えて延ばすことで趣きを与えました。
また居室内仕上げ材料にも和紙・さわら割板・珪藻土・漆・柿渋・ボグオーク突板材等、適材適所に最高級の素材選定を行っております。建築知識に明るいオーナー様により、実現可能となった本プロジェクト。関わった各専門技術者にとっても技術・精度共に貴重な経験となりました。
