穏やかな田園風景が広がる敷地に建つ木造平屋建ての住宅計画です。

敷地は一見すると周辺建物が少なくプライバシーを確保しやすい環境のようでしたが、実際は農道等への人の往来が多く、オーナー様はプライバシーの確保を望まれました。そこで、周辺環境との絶妙な距離感を保ちつつ、圧迫感なくプライバシーを確保できるよう、平屋建てのコートハウス形式としました。
建物は前面道路側からボリュームを徐々にセットバックして調整し、背後の金剛山地に溶け込む特徴的なスカイラインを構築するべく、趣の異なる壁が層を成す外観構成としました。内部空間は最低限の生活スペースを確保し、住空間と同程度のバランスで各所に中庭を設ける事で各室が庭と対峙し、採光や通風の確保はもちろんのこと、庭の間で暮らすような開放的な暮らしを実現しました。
また、各室で庭との関係性を調整し、それぞれの部屋で異なった風景が広がる事で各室が離れのような感覚となり、実面積よりも奥行きや拡がりを感じる豊かな邸宅となりました。

It is a one-story wooden house project built on a site with a calm rural landscape.

At first glance, the site appeared to have few surrounding buildings, making it easy to secure privacy, but it faces a busy street, and the owner wanted to ensure privacy. Therefore, we planned a courtyard-style one-story house to ensure privacy without feeling oppressive while maintaining an exquisite distance from the surrounding environment.
The building is adjusted by gradually setting back the volume from the street side on all sides, and the walls are layered with different atmospheres by materials. Its appearance constitutes a distinctive skyline that blends into the Kongo Mountains behind it. The interior has a minimum amount of living space, with courtyards in various locations in the same balance as the living space.
By having each room face the garden, not only does it ensure lighting and ventilation, but it also creates an open living environment as if one were living among the gardens. Each room has a different view, making each room feel like a separate annex, creating a rich residence with more depth and expansion than its actual area.
